  • I thought I'd found my go-to for getting work done while in Toronto but alas, after 2 weeks of coming, I was informed by the manager of their "One hour maximum" policy and that this was not a "cyber cafe." It's fair enough I suppose, although having spent years and years working in coffee shops, it is a first for me. And it's not like I was just buying one coffee. Multiple lattes, the odd salad...anyway, point is, if you're looking for a place to hole up for the afternoon, this is not it. Other than this souring incident... The staff are very sweet for the most part and seem to be on a first name basis with many of their customers. I love that the coffee is fair trade organic and that the lattes are large although taste-wise, they're average. They could use more healthy options on their menu. It's cozy and spacious and having grown up in the area, a much needed addition to Yonge & Davisville! Unfortunately, I was all set to recommend it to everyone I know and now I won't be doing that. Now excuse me while I search for a new home!
