  • I asked for assistance to fill my (own) bag with groceries I ended up with attitude and grief at this location. I contacted Metro Customer Service about the bagging situation but was ignored. Why doesn't Metro automatically bag your groceries when you BYOB? It slows up the line if customers have to both input their card password into the Interact machine then bag their own groceries. Most cashiers don't even smile. What a totally different world compared to grocers like Sobeys where cashiers have no problem with using (your personal bag) to bag your purchases -you are treated much nicer. I endeavor to shop whenever I can at the neighborhood Sobeys despite it being a junior sized store and avoid Metro despite it's much larger size.
