  • Just realized that I never wrote a review for this FABULOUS little slice of cupcake heaven... The Cupcakery did my wedding cupcakes and I have to say - the whole experience was incredible. The staff was so great to work with... friendly and helpful and very accommodating. The best possible flavor available for my Las Vegas wedding was the Elvis Cupcake... with peanut butter and honey and bacon! Yes...bacon! The original cupcake (pre-wedding modifications) had bacon on top of the frosting... since we had cupcakes decorated especially for the event, there would be nowhere to put the bacon... until it was suggested to us, that it could be mixed into the frosting. Bacon frosting? Are you kidding me?? It was the most perfect wedding ever BECAUSE of the bacon cupcakes! My wedding was at a wicked early hour on a Saturday (gotta get in where you fit in when marrying in Vegas) and we hosted a cupcake/champagne reception immediately after. The wonderful ladies at The Cupcakery made themselves available for cupcake pick-up at an ungodly hour so that the cupcakes would be present and set up for our guests after the ceremony. (Special shout out to my aunt-in-law for living a few blocks from their Henderson shop and bringing the cupcakes with her!) When the cupcakes arrived - I teared up. They were perfect. They were beautiful. They couldn't have been any more amazing. We received tons of compliments on our "different approach" to wedding cake... and especially how delicious the cupcakes were. Moist, flavorful, and fantastic. We offered four different flavors and they were all so yummy! The hubs and I get back to Vegas about once or twice a year and visiting The Cupcakery is a permanent agenda item for us. I eagerly anticipate their monthly e-mail to see what delightful concoction they have come up with for flavor of the month... I have to admit, I haven't seen The Elvis Cupcake in almost 2 years. I would have to make a special trip JUST to gobble one up again. If you're looking for a good place to grab a cupcake snack - don't waste your time anywhere else. If you're getting married in Vegas and want to surprise your guests with awesome cake options - I can't recommend The Cupcakery enough. The service couldn't be beat. The cupcakes were perfect. They were such a big part of our wedding day memories... Heading back to LV next week - if you need me, you know where I'll be.... nibbling away at a gingerbread cupcake.
