It must be common practice of Walgreens to employ extremely rude, unhelpful people for the pharmacy. I'm convinced it's a qualification. The ruder you are the more likely you are to get a job with this company.
Listen up pharmacy employees: I have spoken with Walgreens headquarters & various store managers on this issue. This nonsense of it taking 2 weeks to order meds you don't have in stock is just that: NONSENSE! Do your job & don't be lazy. With the money made off pharmaceuticals there is no excuse to let money walk out the door because you're lazy. When I have Store Managers apologizing for this "blatant lie," what does that say?
2 DAYS is all it takes outside their normal week order. For ANY drug, narcotics included. Don't let them lie to you and tell you narcotics takes 2 weeks. It doesn't.
I work next door to this store. I attempted to transfer over $600/month in prescriptions here from the Ft Apache/Sunset store because I am tired of driving so far to get my meds each month during my lunch break. THIS "2 week order" lie cost them guaranteed income.
Just like the Silverado Ranch pharmacy, I lodged a complaint with Walgreens corporate. They will call for details & forward to the store manager who will call to "fix" things.
FIRE all the rude unhelpful people working in your stores & give those jobs to people who are grateful for one & actually want to work. That's how you FIX it.
Drive to Ft Apache if you want real, proper, sincere service from a pharmacy. Its worth the 7 mile drive. The staff there are friendly, helpful, & don't lie.
