  • We have lived here for 8 yrs since November 2008. We used to love it here and kept resigning our leases even after they started hiking up the rate. The original management team who was here have all changed and most recently it has turned awful. We went in today to negotiate a better rate and the young millennial, Kierya, who has worked here maybe two months had a complete lack of human empathy. Instead of picking up the phone to call manager Ashley so that we could talk to her, she sat there texting her repeatedly not giving any of the information that we were inquiring about. She told us (as did the previous rep Eric who no longer works here now) that the new management team is raising all current resident rents to match their new rates. She also said the old team gave us too many concessions and the company was losing money. Why she thought that would make anyone want to continue living here I have no idea. I felt like her goal was to push out good tenants like us. Again, we have lived here 8 years and have NEVER BEEN LATE, NEVER COMPLAIN and do not cause trouble. We are typically a landlord's dream tenant as we give them money every month and they basically just sit there without having to earn it. So, this little snit who was so obnoxious starts lying right to our faces about Ashley not being available. First, she's supposedly in a meeting. Next, she's off on the weekend. Third, she is indisposed. So which is it Kieyra? Unless you want to be price gauged into paying way more money than this property is worth, you would be better off looking elsewhere. It's unfortunate that customer service seems to be a thing of the past at Monaco Park where we used to love living. We basically gave up and put in our notice without another apartment lined up based on the worsening guest relations offered here. The maintenance guy, Gene, is the only person left from the old team and he is the only one who acts like a good human being who actually wants to help the people who live here. Luckily, I have many friends in real estate and we have already found multiple condos for rent that are twice the size and less expensive just around the corner from where we live. Maybe that sociopathic little twit did us a favor after all...
