| - Local hotspot serving burgers and craft beers. That alone nearly guarantees success, and if I lived closer would frequent. I went for their flagship Moo & Brew burger (medium rare since they grind in-house), fries, and a pint of Lagunitas IPA.
The burger was overcooked and bland. No punch. I added salt but couldn't rescue the flavor. The fries were seasoned well and I think my wife would approve (she's a french fry snob). Shelby, my waitress, took great care of me. Thanks, Shelby (who's not from Shelby)!
I dislike the aluminum serving trays. The aluminum serving tray salesman must have retired by now and has a yacht at the Lake. Has everyone bought from him? Joe & Nosh, Mac's, now Moo & Brew and countless others. I understand nobody wants to scrub dishes; but, where will our next great chefs come from? Anthony Bourdain, Guy Fieri, and Bobby Flay all rose to stardom having began their careers washing dishes. Old school. Clink. Clatter. Breakage. Serve my burger on something of substance or just wrap it in wax paper and stuff it in a brown paper bag, e. g. Brooks Sandwich Shop
Well, I kind went off. Aluminum is my kryptonite, apparently. I say Give 'em a whirl.
