| - This Zia location is one of my favorites. The store is small, but it's well organized. There's a good array of new and used vinyl, CDs, DVDs, games, books, t-shirts, stickers, and novelties like bacon bandages and robot tissues by Accoutrements, Fred, etc. I usually pick at least one CD off of the "Just In" endcap, and I love digging through the clearance box (when there's actually product in there).
The staff here is friendly and helpful in varying degrees. Most of them will quickly rattle off a few recommendations, and they'll call another store if they're unsure of something.
Other highlights that bear mentioning:
*They have a gospel section. Hallelujah!
*There is a distinct lack of tweakers at the trade counter here!
*Great in-store play.
*Their transfer system--in case you want a used item from the Eastern store, but don't feel like schlepping over there.
On a recent visit I picked up 5 CDs--including two new releases--for less than $25. Not too shabby.
