  • Yet another from the Observers recent burger bracket challenge. I stopped in for lunch on a Sunday. The restaurant was very busy, but I was able to grab a seat at the bar. The bartender was friendly and took my order. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger on steroids with the house made potato chips as my side. I also ordered some onion straws as fried onions are one of my weaknesses. The onions straws came out pretty quickly. They had a nice spicy bite to them. They had a chipotle ranch dipping sauce, but really didn't need it. My burger came out when i was about half way through the onion straws. It was enormous and looked delicious. It was almost too big to get my mouth around, but I managed. It was very juicy with the standard lettuce, tomato, onion along with the two types of bacon, cheese and baconaise. The house made chips were OK, but I'd probably opt for a different side next time. Over all a very good burger and good service. I'm definitely putting Big Daddy's on my list of places to go back to again.
