Went early on a Saturday night after a matinee at Belk Theater. Found a parking spot on the street very close to the restaurant. I imagine this doesn't happen as easily during normal dinner time. The restaurant is in a residential neighborhood. After a short wait we were seated. The historic building gives the vibe of a friendly, cozy neighborhood bar. We had the specials and shared them between the two of us: Bruschetta salad w chicken and Shrimp Alfredo pasta. Both were delicious. The longer we were there the busier it got and the service slowed considerably. I noticed when we arrived and when we left there were open tables, but lots of people waiting to be seated. It took forever to get our bill, so maybe that's where things break down in turning tables. Good food, friendly but slow service.
