  • I recently moved to Madison and was looking for a new hair dresser. Front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. They start off by asking to complete a Par-Q form, which I thought was professional. Since I had never been before, I asked for a recommendation for long cuts with layers for thick hair. Brittany ended up working with me. She was very friendly, but seemed to be a bit timid. I asked for long layers and for it to be thinned out since my hair is quite thick. She did keep the length, which I was very happy about since I have experience with stylist chopping it all off, however, I do not think she has experience layering or thinning. My hair was all the same length and felt very choppy. I was pretty upset. Another turn off was that I could clearly tell this hair salon encourages their staff to push product. It was uncomfortable and unforgiving.
