  • We moved to the east valley about a year ago and drove past this church for 8 months before deciding to visit with the family. The welcome that we received was very warm and inviting. The people at this location are genuine and opened up to us pretty easily. The feeling was definitely homier than other churches that we have visited in the past. We loved being welcomed by the enthusiastic greeters! We have two little ones that went to Sunday School. On the first visit, the checkin for both our kids was smooth and the transition was welcoming. Ever since our first visit the kids look forward to church on Sundays. They love the songs that they learn and usually come home with a great new lesson to share with us. The volunteers are super enthusiastic and work hard to build relationships with families. The church service itself is what sealed the deal for my husband and I. The pastor was down to earth and explained his teaching in a way that it applied to every day modern life. We were a little hesitant about the contemporary music since we both come from more of a traditional background but we have grown to love the time of praise at the beginning and end of service. We love how the message is truly aimed towards building a strong relationship with Jesus. We have participated in a few events, classes and groups offered by the church and are happy with the internal growth that we have experienced, as well as the transformations that we have witnessed around us. We love the attitude of service present at Sun Valley East Mesa Campus and look forward to being a part of it for many years to come!
