| - This hospital is full of ups and downs. Just prepare to wait for a while.
Pros:
The staff here at this hospital are normally very nice. I have come here on multiple occasions and each visit I have left with a positive outlook on the staff members as customer service representatives. The hospital is generally clean, which is nice. It even has a little outside area and Shoppette inside. There's also a small barber shop on the campus.
Cons:
Unfortunately, that is all of the nice things I can state about this facility. The wait times for anything you need to get done, from a common cold to full out fatal injuries, are always atrocious. The sheer amount of time you have to wait here are horrendous. Prepare to call off the entire day from work, because you aren't going back. The doctors never seem to understand the policies and practices that are required within the hospital. We have often had to go back and forth from one side of the clinic to another simply because the doctor either forgot or flat out didn't send in the order for a particular test or prescription. With that said, the doctors often jump to the smallest conclusion that your particular illness might be and prescribe only ibuprofen or Tylenol, all within the first 5 minutes of seeing said individual. The hospital doesn't understand that the practices that they are using to expedite patients are extremely ineffective, to say the least. Every process here is frustrating in some form or fashion, and the sheer amount of other patients sitting around disgruntled as well still don't seem to tip them off on that fact. I have much more to say, but I feel I may be rambling on at this point.
To summarize, the staff are very friendly, but often times do not know what they are doing nor understand situational awareness. If you have an option at what hospital you can go to, then I advise you to go elsewhere, because you are simply just wasting your time, otherwise.
