| - $4 happy hour apps and a $5 Aperol spritzer? Ain't mad at ya.
Maybe the magic is a bit built up, hailing from a state with zero drink specials (thanks Blue Laws!), but stepping out of a blustery, sleet-driven Friday in to the warm, fabricated hearth of a Brio set the stage for success.
Cheap food that's just cheap food? Hardly. We dabble in a spinach dip, sliders, ravioli caprese, crispy shrimp and a sausage & pepper flatbread, all at the paltry price of 400 pennies each. Keep your expectations in check, and the shrimp and caprese will pleasantly surprise you.
The atmosphere is a kick-up from the ultra façade most mega chains spit, and the servers were attentive without being obnoxious (whereas the bussers were perhaps too aggressive with plate snatching and stacking).
Brio is not the place I'll beckon any shopper in Crocker Park to make a B-line for, but would I kick the $4 bar apps out of bed for eating crackers? Not tonight; it's cold outside.
