Then I'm sold!
After coming back from Croatia where baked goods were $1.50 and loaves of bread were $1, its' hard to settle back into Toronto in the hopes that prices are going to be anywhere near what I saw in Europe.
However, stumbling into Market Bakery - it was such a relief to smell a whiff of fresh baked bread, a large assortment too, and display cases of cookies, bars, cakes, and more.
I got a strawberry rhubarb slice to go and it held up all the way until I brought it to his office for lunch. It was tasty and had a nice tartness to it. I could not complain on the price or the taste.
There will be plenty more trips to come!
