Loop is a unique concept: part coffee shop, part vinyl record shop, with a wholly indie vibe.
Coffee is good, not great. Lattes and other espresso-based drinks are a strong point while brewed coffee is not. Pastry items are not terribly good in terms of quality or variety of offerings. The baristas are generally friendly and seem to know what they're doing.
I'm not really qualified to comment on the record selection seeing as I get all my music from Spotify, but it's pretty large and seems to cover a good variety of music the few times I've poked around. To the untrained eye, prices appear reasonable.
There are a decent number of tables scattered in amongst the records, along with enough outlets that you can feel comfortable camping out with your laptop for a few hours. Wi-Fi is slow but free (and doesn't require any annoying passwords, registration, or the like).
As an independent coffee shop, Loop is really pretty average, but its quirky nature makes it strangely likeable.
