4.5 stars. Only because my Tonkotsu broth was too salty. We ate at the Monta in Chinatown last yr and this place opened about 1 yr ago. I prefer this place because there's better parking as it is located in a small mall area and the facility is nicer.
We came for a late lunch at 2PM and avoided the lunch crowd. Got seated immediately. Service is nicer here too.
We shared a large pork belly rice. My cholesterol was probably off the roof eating this dish but it was so good with lots of pork belly.
I added corn, egg to my Tonkotsu which was also good but found the broth to be too salty and couldn't enjoy it. Hubby added an egg to his Tonkotsu ramen.
Our lunch bill came to $31 which isn't too bad for 3 dishes. He took the leftover pork belly rice home and had it for breakfast the next day and didn't share!
