So I must say I was so very disappointed with this Lowe's store today!
I have spent 1000's of dollars here through the years and probably 2 or 3 thousand this year alone.
I had a Porter Cable drill and impact kit given to me as a gift. Of course I have no receipt nor do I have the credit/debit card used for the purchase.
Well to say the least, they wouldn't exchange it even though the drill is definitely broken. I'll also add, you can tell it hasn't been used much and it's not years old.
Furthermore, they have 16 of the exact kits on the shelf for $129.
The model hadn't changed. It wasn't a new upgraded color or design. It was exactly the same as the one I had. I spoke with the store manager, Don Egler, and must say he is the most rude individual. I cannot believe they are willing to lose a loyal customer over $129.
I'll close by saying this, that is exactly what happened. I will never spend another red cent at Lowe's. I will gradually work towards replacing anything that I know was purchased from them with a competitors brand. I will also tell every person I meet this story and beg them to spend their money elsewhere.
Now I realize this review won't hurt their business much, in the grand scheme of things, but I had to get it off my chest. So if your reading this make you're own decision based on what is best for you but don't expect great customer service because you'll not get it.
