Yup, got a couple of free admission tix by being a slave to Vegas Slots and M Life, but hey, free is free. My bf and I decided to hit this place up right before we headed out of town and I'm glad we did. They have a nice collection of animals here, and I like their emphasis on conservation and environmental awareness. Their "shark tunnel" area is way cool and we spent quite a bit of time there just watching the fish swim around--quite soothing. I also loved the jelly fish tank and the ray petting pool (use only your index finger!). Overall it's a pretty decent aquarium, even if the architectural details are kinda cheesy--more Indiana Jones than National Geographic, but hey, it's Vegas. Luckily it wasn't TOO crowded when we were there but I imagine it could feel quite claustrophobic and hectic with capacity crowds. We had a good time and I wouldn't mind returning (with more free tickets, that is).
STEPH JUDGEMENT: A cool little slice of wild life in Vegas that doesn't involve any vices.
