  • WILL NEVER GO BACK... I have been going to this fish monger for the last 6 months and have really enjoyed the fish I have gotten here each and every time. Unlike the other reviewers, I have NEVER experienced good or friendly customer service at this place. In fact, during my most recent visit the man behind the counter (who I assume is the owner?) was very short with me when I asked a question about two different kinds of fish. I was simply looking for fish for making fish tacos, and was looking for a recommendation for the best fish. While I understand I did not purchase an expensive kind of fish, I did not appreciate his short/rude attitude. I have never experienced a welcoming attitude from this person or anyone else. A smile would be nice once in a while, but I've never seen this. As a result of my experiences with this establishment over the last half year, I will no longer be getting my fish from here. I am disappointed, but I don't think a local establishment should make its customers feel unwelcome at any time. There are lots of places to buy fish in the city, so I will just have to look elsewhere in the future.
