Ok, welcome back. I'm sure you're as stuffed and immovable as I am right now. I weep that I am not Shakespeare, for I cannot put together the necessary words to adequately describe how amazing the food was and how awesome our customer server Lou, was.
Firstly, the food is phenomenal. I was expecting merely adequate meat with the whole gimmick being that the food is never ending and that they cut it at your table. I could not have been more wrong. The meat, the seasoning, the lingering, smokey flavor was simply the best I ever had. It took all of my willpower not to ask the server to take the slice of meat for himself and to leave the skewer. Tonight, while I am in the midst of a meat coma, I will be dreaming of their top sirloin and filet. (Sorry Kaley Cuoco, Fogo gets top billing tonight).
One aspect that guarantees that I will be coming back, too often for my bank account to recuperate, I'm sure, is the customer service. Derek, our waiter, did a great job of explaining the protocols to my wife and I as this was our first time there. But it was the Customer Server Lou, that really stood out and made the night memorable. I have experienced a lot of restaurant employees who checked on you simply because it was their job to do so, but Lou really cared, this was evident from his first introduction. He treated us like close family and ensured that we were cared for and well fed. I was celebrating a promotion, but Lou definitely stole the show. I can't say enough nice things about how great he was and how relaxed he made us feel.
