rev:text	I loved dr Gatlin at first, I saw him before I was pregnant. Now-I am 37 weeks pregnant and have been considering switching doctors for a few weeks.. Dr Gatlin and his nurse make really unnecessary comments to both my fiancé and I. I have not gained much weight this pregnancy, and was slim even before pregnancy, but he constantly makes comments about my weight. I was to get the rhogam shot at 28 weeks due to my negative blood factor but he kept putting it off. I was 34 weeks when the nurse finally said "well you were supposed to get that- like yesterday". He sent me to the hospital to get the shot instead of giving it to me in office as all OBs do. He does not do ultrasounds in his office as his website states, instead sent me to a specialist. The office does not use the portal to keep in contact with patients (what's it used for then??). He has asked me 100 times if I've registered at the hospital- I finally started telling him yes because he doesn't even deliver at the hospital I live by. The past two weeks I have been contracting and have been in the hospital- I was 2 cm dilated when I left the hospital the first time. Yesterday at my apt I asked him to check and see if I was dilated more because of the contractions/pain, he said no next apt. It only takes a min to check and I will be 39 weeks at my next apt!! Needless to say- I have switched doctors. I called Dr Gatlin today and requested my file, they are giving me the run around as to why I can't pick up my file. Absolutely ridiculous.
