  • When it comes to kid's haircuts, it takes a lot to do it well. They don't sit still, they're scared, they fidget, and they cry. It takes a special kind of salon to get little ones to calm down and sit still long enough to get a trim. Giggles is AMAZING. When you walk in, the set up has the look and feel of a kindergarten classroom. Cartoon posters on the wall, bright fun colours, and salon chairs that look like coin-op rides all help to keep your little one interested. There are also movies playing on LCDs on the wall to keep them looking in one direction. I was amazed at how earnest and friendly the staff were here. In contrast to workers at say a Tommy Play where they're just trying to get through their shift and go home, the ladies at Giggles genuinely LOVE working with kids. They're up beat, cheerful, friendly, and indulge a parent's need to take a plethora of pictures. The biggest testament to their service is that kids finish their haircuts with a smile and a laugh. I definitely recommend this place.
