  • We decided to do the Zoomline for my best friend's birthday. There were actually two options available: the zipline and the zoomline. The zipline is 7 stories up and 2 blocks long. You fly sitting style. The zoom line is 11 stories up and 5 blocks long. You fly super hero style aka Superman style (on your stomach). It didn't seem scary until we got closer and you saw how high up it was but we had already committed so we couldn't back down now. The ticket guy suggested doing the zoomline. He said that one was the most fun. So, we felt we made the right decision. We bought our tickets and were assigned a specific fly time. We went up the stairs at our assigned time and got all our gear on. And we waited, and waited, and waited. For some reason, the wait was quite long. I didn't understand the point of the assigned fly time since we ended up waiting over an hour anyway. Once we finally got up to the front, we were hook onto the line and we laid flat on our stomachs on a pile of mats until the doors in front of us slowly came down. We could see all the skyline in front of us. I was strangely calm and excited. We were given the green light and we were off. It was fun! You didn't get that "drop your stomach" feeling. You just felt free and fun. I tried to go fast but somehow ended up coming in last compared to everyone else around me. Anyway, it's definitely something fun to do if you're in Vegas and if you've never been ziplining.
