I went there yesterday to sit with a friend while she was taken off life support. The staff was very sympathetic asking if we wanted water etc. I tend to ask a lot of questions, and I was asking the nurse some questions. He not only answered my questions, he wrote me a diagram on the picture board that they have so I would understand what was happening to her body. I would also like to add that when I first arrived, she had been put in a different room so I asked the receptionist what room she was in.. A staff member nearby offered to take me directly to the room, he was very friendly and helpful. Then as I was leaving, I was very upset and I got lost as I usually do in the "maze" hospital and another staff member offered to walk me out to the exit area. He was very nice as well. The staff was amazing during a very hard situation to deal with.
