  • These wise guys really know how to make Philly Cheesesteak. OK, I have been to South Philly and all the way to 9th and Passyunk Ave. That is where the Philly started and Geno's and Pat's are still contending. The secret is in the bun and the meat. As a Philly purist, I always want provolone cheese on mine. In Phoenix, Cheez Whiz is the main option. This joint wants to charge extra for green peppers, in Philly they come standard. Our two Philly Cheesesteaks were great despite their use of Cheez Whiz. This is a good choice in Phoenix for Cheesesteaks. The French fries were just average. That means my fav Five Guys still make the best fries. This place is busy on weekend evenings. Get there early for your PHX Philly.
