I would say that my family and I have frequented this establishment quite often over the past three years of living in Las Vegas. Anytime someone asks where we like to eat sushi, we always say here. We have had nothing but great service time and time again, until tonight. We wanted a seat for three, wait time was told 20-30 minutes- which was fine. They were busy, but we were first in line for a table. About 10 minutes later a woman and her child came in requesting specifically to sit at the bar because a table was going to take too long. Watching one couple finish their desert we knew our time was coming! (Yay!- right?!) waitress sat the woman and her child at our table. I asked and all I got was an "I'm so sorry" nothing. Nothing. Waited a few more minutes before deciding to get with two other strangers and share the six top that had been empty long before we walked in.
Once seated we ordered drinks and our first round of food. Everything was great until after we noticed our second round of plates were empty and we had nothing left to eat. 45 minutes later we finally received our plate of nigiri and last roll. Not once during our meal were we asked if we would like to order, if we needed more drinks or how everything was. I ended up talking them into only charging me for two all you can eat and one single roll since my sister ordered the one roll that took over an hour to make and didn't eat anything else nor did she want to order more after sitting at the table watching us eat for an hour.
$87 later and I'll be honest, I didn't leave a tip. This truly breaks my heart to have had this experience at our (previously) favorite sushi restaurant.
I've worked in the food industry before, and I think a little communication and organization such as sections for a specific server so they're not all tending to every table would do a long way.
Love,
Broke and still hungry.
