Very tiny and cute Cuban place downtown with good, strong cocktails and really tasty food. We had some outstanding pineapple ribs, a spicy and delicious plate of braised Creole chicken, the aguacate salad with nougat (fantastic), the very tender beef pinchos, rice and beans, and the tres leches for dessert. Everything was outstanding. They make a decent classic mojito as well. The service is really friendly.
The only downside is how cramped it is while you are waiting to be seated (the staff could stand to communicate a bit more with guests to let them know what is going on in order to avoid confusion). They do seem to take reservations, though, so that is probably the way to go. We will definitely be back soon to try other dishes, as we were really impressed by the food; it is simple and very well done.
