| - We stayed the last two nights at The Mirage on our last Vegas trip. A friend was able to get a suite and an adjoining room. He stayed in the suite with his girl (room 9046) and the boys, a girlfriend, and I stayed in the adjoining double (room 9001). We checked in on Thursday, May 11th around 3:30pm.
Our room was the standard double with two queen beds and a bathroom. Since we had an adjoining room to the suite, we basically shared the common living areas. The suite was awesome. Huge kitchen, couch, a dining room table, extra bathroom, etc. Though the fridge wasn't the best as it didn't get or keep anything cold. I did love the couch since it was huge and three people could comfortably lay down on it while chilling and watching TV.
Service here was kind of a miss. We called several times for more toiletries and towels, but no one ever showed up. With four people in our room, I needed more shampoo, conditioner, and soap. Luckily, our friends had extra, so I just took theirs as we needed to get our day started. The Mirage provided the standard bar cleansing soap, hair shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion. All were the Kuer brand by MGM Resorts.
We left on Saturday, May 13th around 12 noon, but they kept the adjoining room as they stayed a little longer. Also, three other friends joined us on Friday and they had another room on the twenty something floor. (Note: It was kind of a pain to get to their floor as you would have to go back down to the main floor to catch another elevator to the twenty something floor.)
I loved our rooms, but the service left something to be desired. Any time we called for more of anything, to get our adjoining door open, etc, it really did take them forever to show up. And that is if they even showed up at all. Sure, The Mirage is an older hotel, but I still had a nice stay here. Especially in that suite. Such a great common area!
