I must say I'm kinda sad!
I took my cockerspaniel there before despite yelp reviews,
and the first time was good!
Second time not so much....
My only request was to keep her long eyelashes and shave the rest.
(I hate the traditional cocker cut)...
And they shaved her poor eyelashes off!
I didn't call right away because I figured what really could they do?it's done. They can't glue them back on!
A month later,it's time for her to get groomed again. My friend insisted however as I was looking up different grooming places, to call Sniffany and see if they would do anything to keep you as a customer.
So I did! I called and spoke with manager. I did mention to her about the situation
and told her she might lose me as a customer .She offered me $10 off at first.
Which I didn't feel good about! I think it was more her not once apologizing and repeating "i don't know why that would've happened" to me.
It doesn't matter why or who....it did!
I said $10 wasn't enough, so she offered me $20 and said "cockerspaniels are a lot of work"
Totally get it.But It was your mistake and your job to make it right.
Not once during our convo was there reassurance that it wouldn't happen again or that they would love to keep me as a customer and they are really sorry.
I wasn't expecting a free haircut but maybe with a more empathetic attitude I would've thought $20 was enough. However,in the end I didn't.It's important to feel good about the place you leave your pup for hours and I just didn't think the manager really showed any concern for what happened nor did she apologize.
I will be looking elsewhere for my business!
