| - A little overpriced in the a la carte option. Their pre-selected ramen dishes begin at $8.95 but are very limited, so you end up spending an extra $3-4 to make it a true ramen dish. Or you can begin a l carte at $6.95 and most definitely will be paying around $15. You can select the emat, type of ramen noodle, broth, and accompaniments. I went with the pre-selected breaded chicken with thick noodles and added corn, bean sprouts, egg, and spicy paste. The broth was excellent, and the noddles were above par. The breaded chicken didn't really fit well with ramen in my opinion. The best part was the paste - small in quantity, but packed huge, delicious heat.
The service was some of the slowest I have ever seen. They're not attentive at all, though friendly when you do catch their glance. The restaurant is rather welcoming and hip considering it's just your basic storefront in a shopping center. Not my favorite ramen bar, a little pricy, but worth a go. The have Happy Hour 5:00-7:30 with half off beers, so there's that to consider as well.
