People talk a lot of smack about this place and it's definitely "hyped up," but I actually enjoyed my experience here. It's a small store with very limited seating, so many people had to do takeout or eat awkwardly. I liked the decor though and it had a modern industrial fee to it.
We luckily snagged a table and we got ourselves a chocolate whiskey which was part of the flavor of the month menu. I LOVED it. You could really taste the whiskey and everything and I'm not a huge ice cream person, but this ice cream made me crave it and ask my SO to go again another time. The texture is different and tasty.
My only negatives about the experience was the wait time, which was like 20 minutes (and it wasn't packed) and the service was to be desired. It was two Chinese dudes that didn't give a f, but they were working really hard to push out orders. When they called your ice cream out, he wouldn't wait for the "aha" moment when he put the nitrogen in, which hurts the experience of the customer because in the moment its kind of rude, and they also weren't able to film it and put it on social media, which is literally free publicity. Those are my only issues.
4/5. I loved the ice cream and would go back again for more, but service needs work.
