| - Called in to find out how much a filling would be if I paid cash, no insurance. She said she could not give me an estimate, then said it could be anywhere between $100 and $400, then said it would be a minimum of $298 plus $90 office visit charge but for $9 more they would do a cleaning and x-rays too because they have a $99 exam/cleaning/x-ray special. Like pulling teeth (sorry) to get a straight, reasonable answer out of this woman, we finally agreed that the total rough estimate for a filling was $400. That's pretty high, and she was not very nice, so I decided to look elsewhere. Afterward, I happened to see on their website that they have a New Patient Special for a free x-ray, exam, consultation, 2nd opinion. Which I would have done if she had told me about it. I would have had them examine me for free and give me a firm estimate at that time for the work I need. I'm probably better off going somewhere that doesn't expect patients to show up with a blank check, anyway.
