The place was good, but I'm not sure what the hype is all about. The fried chicken was good, but I don't know if it's any better than fried chicken anywhere else. The waffles were pretty good, with the cinnamon adding a nice touch. I wasn't a fan at all of the red velvet cake - it was pretty dry and didn't really have any taste to it at all.
My guess is that the place is famous for being famous - as far as I know, it's the only chicken and waffles place in the valley, so it's going to get notoriety.
