This review is geared toward the location that took over Salon Escape.
For a Salon that claims to be top class, you would think they would have basic phone etiquette. As a "new" salon who has zero to offer new clients from Salon Escape, they should at the very least be on top of their game with politeness. I won't be visiting anytime soon all thanks to their lack of customer service etiquette on the phone.
I left a voicemail wanting to make an appointment and they took it upon themselves to schedule me in (without my confirmation!). When they called to confirm (two days before the "appointment"), I explained that I did not make the appointment and unfortunately was not going to be able to make it. It was the first time I had even heard of Tony Chaar. The lady on the phone barely greeted me and when I asked basic questions about what product line do they carry. She simply said "We have everything Salon Escape had". I then inquired about the hair colour line (as a person who has sensitive skin, this matters). She responded but sounded totally impatient. Why would anyone be impatient with a customer who simply asked two questions...???
Anyway, two days later I received a passive aggressive voicemail on my phone from another staff who apparently was under the impression that I had simply missed the appointment. Out of courtesy, I called back and said that there must have been some confusion as I cancelled the appointment. She said, "Oh, they probably forgot to delete it". No apology. No nothing. Not even a thanks for calling us back or thanks for considering our salon services.
