Not only are the massages mediocre at best (they hire new therapists straight out of school that don't know what they're doing so they can pay them a smaller %), they also don't honor their commitments to the memberships they have. My husband had paid for a membership for years and didn't use it anymore. When he went to close the acct they told him he had 3 unused massages left on the acct and said he could transfer them to me. When I tried to make an appt for a massage they were all of a sudden always booked for 2 weeks out (I used to be able to get in the same day 90% of the time). This happened for SEVERAL weeks. I gave it a break for a few months and then called today to make an appt. It turns out that those massages (that were obtained through months of paying for a membership and not using it) had an expiration date! #1: They didn't tell my husband that there was an expectation date on the remaining massages and 2: They purposely gave me the run around till they expired. 3: I don't even know if what they did was legal (I might have to look into that). Long story short, Massage Envy is a horrible company, not to be trusted!
