Henderson Kia is trying to price gouge on the new Kia Niro. I want to look at the vehicle tonight and why look at the sticker price I was shocked at what they decided to add as additional expenses. Additional expenses were written up in the form of interior exterior pick some sort of protection package plan but it never listed exactly what that involved and the cost was almost $3,000 for all of these protection package plans which were dealer add-ons. So a car that was going to cost $29,000 and some change now shot up to $34,000. I totally understand on the new product charging MSRP but did go and get a price in this manner is unacceptable. There is no way that they listed anything that would constitute that kind of additional expenditures. I will be writing to Kia's Corporate Offices here in the US.
What I found interesting was I contacted one of their direct Kia competitors here in the Las Vegas Valley they went and listed all of their options that they would add on they explained what each of those options was and their protection plan was a mere $700 on top of MSRP.
I would never recommend Henderson Kia to anyone for purchasing a Kia automobile based on this experience of price gouging as I see it.
I personally will never Grace that facility with any of my business even if I were to buy a Kia from another dealer I would take the service to any other facility because I cannot trust Henderson Kia to live up to their pricing standards and they don't deserve my business when they decide to try and price guide on a vehicle in this fashion.
Whoever the owner is of Henderson Kia is going to get rich at our expense beyond what he normally would have earned and this is not a good practice to price gouge to try and create a constant flow of customer recommendations or return business. If I could I'd build a wall like Donald Trump wants to do to keep people out of the u.s. I would build it to keep them out of Henderson Kia because that's unfair practice in my book.
I'm not saying that Henderson Kia Kia is not entitled to earning a profit and doing business but to exceed the MSRP that KIA has listed online by nearly $5,000 is ridiculous. My personal opinion about this ridiculous price increase is the Garner favor with a customer with the potential of being able to say we will drop the price down to MSRP we will cut off all of those extras that we tagged on and make themselves look in a good life. However this is not a way to make yourself look good you are merely trying to fool those customers that are not paying attention into believing that this is a really company when the truth is they have nothing but greed on their mind.
As I said I will be writing Kia Us corporate offices with this experience and I won't be recommending that if they wish to ever earn any of my business that they take action against any dealership within their chain that would act in this manner.
As many know there have been requests by people around the country and the world to boycott certain products certain retailers because they happen to sell Ivanka Trump product everyone is entitled to their own opinion whether I agree with that action or not I do believe that a boycott of Kia products should be taken until Kia corporate has leveled the playing field and corrected what I see is an injustice by Henderson Kia.
