  • The buffet here is probably better than the lower priced ones but for almost $30/person for dinner, I'm not sure it's all that great. I was very disappointed with the sushi which was surprisingly better at the Flamingo buffet. The sushi here tasted like the pre-packaged ones you'd find at your local Safeway or Costco. They had 2 varieties of poke (so-so), crab legs, shrimp and a variety of cooked seafood. The buffet food looks better than the Flamingo's but I thought only the desserts were better overall. They do have really good desserts with slices of cakes, creme' brulee, cookies, flan, tarts, etc. Jr. Yelper went for the red meat - prime rib and Kobe' beef which was "OK". The BBQ short ribs (boneless) was quite tender and tasty. You have to go early to wait in line. The first evening we arrived around 6:30PM and it was a 1.5-2 hrs wait, so we left. The 2nd nite, we got there at 5PM and got in to eat by 1 hr's wait. Our server was good about filling our sodas and water. Hard to understand how any one person can eat all that food. I took just a tablespoon size of some foods just to sample and you get so full that I don't think I sampled even 1/3 the choices available. If you're a big portion eater then buffets may be worth the dollars spent otherwise, you're just overeating and going to get really fat. I kid you not, just look around at the folks in the buffet lines.
