| - Do not visit this Larry H Miller. Do not visit ANY Larry H Miller. We've experienced 3 and they are all terrible! Bought our car from one. Sale transaction was okay, purchased an extended warranty during the sale (you live and you learn). Warranty work MUST be completed at a Larry H Miller - though this is not what we were told during sale and purchase of warranty, or by the sales man when we called back to clarify. But, warranty company will refuse to pay out for warranty work if not completed at a Larry H Miller - so must comply.
Every attempt at having a vehicle serviced at any location (Peoria, Surprise, Avondale) is ridiculous.
This week's issue - the trunk suddenly will not open. Seemingly simple fix covered under warranty. Our appointment was 8am Monday morning. Upon arrival were advised that they won't be able to view our car for 48 hours (Wednesday) but that it HAS to stay there to be in the 'queue' to be looked at and this is normal operations practice for them, all customers have to go through this. So we're forced to rent a car for 48 hours!?
Wednesday - call to find out status of diagnostic and repair so that we can arrange to get this rental car returned which is costing us daily and get our car back. Advised that they won't be able to look at it until tomorrow (Thursday)... and again it must stay at the service center to remain in the queue to even be looked at. No, they will not pay for rental car. Warranty covers rental car only once the car has been diagnosed and from there forward.
Spoke to service manager and dealer GM and neither care to even attempt to understand how this shitty operations practice impacts the customer. At this point, I'm approaching the same cost to just take the car to any other mechanic to have them repair the trunk as the rental car alone is costing. This makes no sense.
This experience above is no different than every other experience we've had with Larry H Miller - OH, except the time the Peoria location GM called the police because I finally was fed up with them holding my car in the 'queue' and just needed to get on with my life, Air Conditioning working or not, and they called the police with no warning or apparent reason because I was going to wait for them to bring my car around and end this service request. The police advised the dealership that as they would not return the car to us, which is ours and paid for, they could be charged with theft. Yikes.
Don't even bother. No "deal" is worth dealing with this. Go to literally any other dealership and your experiences HAVE to be better. They have to. I cannot imagine any worse.
