My parents used Triple 7 to move from NV to the east coast. The whole experience was a nightmare! I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. We experienced issues ranging from the actual cost of the move being almost $1000 more than the original quote to being outright cheated. My mother was advised she could save money by purchasing her own shrink wrap and packing tape and was told how much of each to provide to the movers. The amount of tape they advised her to provide was 40 less than was actually used!!! And you can't imagine how much they charge per roll of tape!!! They were supposed to come back after everything was packed and give a more accurate quote a week before the movers were coming to pick up their belongings. An appointment was made for this, which nobody showed up for. It was then Rescheduled and again nobody came out. The movers did t show up at the time we were told they would be there, and then up charged the move by an enormous amount!!! At the point you finally get the actual cost (it is understandable for the price to fluctuate by a reasonable amount... Not near $1000 more!!!) your stuff is already on the truck and you're kind of left without an option. Please be careful when you hire ANY moving company and make sure you get a "not to exceed" quote so that you can plan for worst case scenario. These guys will nickel and dime you on everything and their communication is horrible. And avoiding the final walk through to give a not to exceed before the movers come is dispicable!!!!! My parents were absolutely taken advantage of and it disgusts me!
I will compliment the men who came and loaded up the truck however. They were polite and very efficient. On the other hand the driver who delivered the items was rude, unkempt, and had a foul mouth!
