| - Now here is a beautiful recreational park perfect to walk your dog, take your kid to the park, or just enjoy the beautiful scenery.
I love the idea of this place; you have to drive around in a giant circle to complete the loop of Glenmore Park. It's a one-way street most of the way, so you don't have to worry about on-coming traffic. The speed limit is slow so even if you're driving through you can still enjoy the scenery.
One of the great things about this park is the amazing view it has. There is a giant cliff overlooking the Elbow River, and a couple paths leading down to the water. I caution you if you're planning on making the trip down. It's a steep slope and may be a little hard getting back up.
There are playgrounds and places for people to walk their dogs. They have bathrooms for people to use, which is nice because no one wants to go in the bush, especially the ladies. There are park benches to have little picnics at, and ample parking all around so you're sure to get a spot.
A side note: I once lost my wallet here and someone returned it to me. It was awesome!
So, if you haven't gathered it from what I've said so far, North Glenmore Park is one of the most beautiful parks in the entire city. The views are amazing, the paths are nice, and the parks are great for people of all ages to enjoy.
