  • We took our dog Emily in because after removing a tick from the top of the nose and it wouldn't stop bleeding. We held pressure for 45 minutes and it hadn't stopped so made the trip to the vet. Ila was the tech that helped us and she made friends with Emily with some snacks. Cleaned her up and said she would check with the vet and see if we really needed to be seen. She didn't want us to pay $105 if she could just clean her up and send her on her way. By then the bleeding had stopped. She told us what to watch for and let us know they were a general vet as well so we could bring her in on a non emergency basis to have her checked. No charge for the visit. Very thankful and I think we have a new vet
