  • We rented a car through Priceline for Budget Car Rental for one day. The woman at the counter kept trying to upsell us on everything. We kept telling her we did not need any insurance or any other type of upgrade. In fact we told her 3 times (my husband and myself) that we did not WANT or NEED their insurance, we had our own insurance that covered rental cars. Well, when we dropped it off they charged us $26.88 for loss/damage waiver (a part of their insurance). We did not authorize this charge or initial that we accepted it. After, returning to the office to dispute the charge, we were told by the manager that they could not take it off, RIDICOULOUS!! that it would have to be investigated. Budget Car Rental at Las Vegas Airport employees are very sneaky, add charges you don't want or accept, BEWARE do not rent from them. Check your bill when you drop off the car for unnecessary charges!! Also, the car we rented needed cleaned, the seats were stained and overall needed a good cleaning, it had a slight smell to it, thank god we only had it for a day!!
