  • You can't beat this little hidden gem in the heart of Tempe. A visit to the botanical garden can make you realize how beautiful some of the plant life is in the desert. We visited the garden during a special light installation from Bruce Munro: Sonoran Light. We arrived at sunset and it was packed! I wasn't surprised since the marketing for this event was on par all over the tv. No worries, the garden is big enough to spread out the crowds. The light installation was stunning on all levels. It was a surreal scene to see the garden lit up in the middle of the city. A successful date night if you ask me.
