  • I called this company to look at my hot water heater. The technician that came to my home was outstanding and very personable. He immediately noticed that whoever installed my hot water tank installed a valve backwards above the tank where the cold water comes into the tank and the hot water leaves. This valve has a thermostat that regulates the hot water going out of the tank to a temperature maximum of 120 degree's. The technician used a couple of wrenches and flipped the valve to the correct position. This job took about 10 minutes. After that he made sure the hot water in the house was getting close to the 120 degree's. When I received the bill from the company the total due was $211.00. I was shocked they charged me that much for such a small job. The bill said there was 2 hours of labor at a rate of $98.00 an hour. There was also a fuel adjustment fee of $15.00. When I called the company to discuss the bill they told me that the hourly rate I was charged started when the technician began driving to my home which is in the NW side of the valley. The technician and I talked about many other things while he was there to include the Las Vegas Raiders arrival in 2020 and my military back ground. I had no idea my conversation was being billed at $98.00 an hour. During my conversation with the company concerning the bill they stated the bill was correct and was unwilling to address my concerns or adjust the bill. My recommendation is to avoid this company at all cost and find one that will not take advantage of you.
