  • I've taken several of my family's cars here for maintenance and repairs and always had good service. Recently, I was informed by a dealer that my CV boots were leaking grease and my serpentine belt was worn on my Nissan Rogue. So rather than pay the high cost at the dealer, I decided to go to Brakes Plus. They replaced both sides of the CV boots and new axles and did a great job for much less money than the dealer would charge. After replacing the belt, they noticed a squealing noise coming from the AC compressor, so they called me and said I might need a new compressor for about $600. Of course, in AZ you can't live without AC, so I said OK. Then they called me back about 15 minutes later and said they found an adjustment for the belt that totally made the AC compressor quiet and I did not need a new compressor. Now I can tell you that many shops would have not called me back and would have taken the opportunity to sell me something I didn't need. This Brakes Plus location is very honest and saves me money (which is important since I'm retired and living on a fixed income). I highly recommend them and will continue to bring my family's cars to them for service work.
