  • This place seriously is SWEETIES GALORE! Located right by Metro Place des Arts (Exit Bleury), this brightly lit, candy-coloured shop is hard to miss - the only name that stands out amongst the usuals in that area. One of the (countless) things that I miss about the UK is our huge variety of confectionery. Luckily, this place has all those sweets that I was so badly missing and it also brought back so many childhood memories. I felt like Charlie from Charlie & The Chocolate Factory - not knowing where to start or where to look! There is so much to choose from - every flavour Jelly Belly beans, Hubba Bubba's in a bubble gum haven, Liquorice in the Pick & Mix section.... The list is endless! The staff are super nice and friendly, and sometimes, you might even be lucky enough to sample some of the sugary delights! Fill up a bag of your favourites and work your way through whilst enjoying the Quartier des Spectacles!
