One of my favorite restaurants in Charlotte --- seriously. Do yourself a favor and head there right now. We always make it here during the Queen's Feast/Restaurant Week. This time, we took a newbie friend with us, and she said "how have I never been here before ... this place is amazing!"
For appetizers: you absolutely have to get the deviled eggs & millionaire's bacon. The eggs are probably some of the best in the South, and the bacon is basically candied/glazed ... all the NOMS.
Entrees: My go-to is without a doubt the baby back ribs. They're so tender they just drop right off the bone. You get a huge rack, probably about 12 bones or so. More than enough. The ribs come with fries & cole slaw. I'm not a huge slaw fan, so I always sub it out. GET THE MAC N' CHEESE. Seriously, it's insanely good. The crab cakes are also amazing --- great size and huge chunks of fresh crab. My wife and I didn't really care for the quinoa-kale salad too much that it came with ... but to each their own. You can't go wrong ordering either of this. My wife and I usually get these and split our dinners to get the best of both worlds. If you're more of a chicken person, the Parmesan crusted chicken is incredible and the service size is insane ... easily two meals worth.
