This isn't my first choice for a pharmacy but given they're open 24 hours I have made the occasional visit in the wee hours and candidly have never been impressed with the staff or their service.
Granted its likely difficult to find top tier staff for the overnight shift but wow, last nights visit was like a trip to the village of the damned. I dropped off my prescription and wandered around the store waiting for it to be filled. The three staff members I ran into looked like extras from Shawn of the Dead (serious zombification) and the creepy security guard following me around was a nice touch but whatever, I'm here for drugs not to make friends.
Speaking of the drugs when I went to pick up my prescription the pharmacist (who I think came over on the mayflower) looked very confused and didn't seem to recall that it was only 15 minutes since she saw me last. Told her my last name and she grabs a prescription for someone else (who's name isn't even close to mine). Tell her, no thats not me so she goes back for round two. Again, not me. I speak quite clearly with no accent so I decide that maybe she has a hearing problem so I pull out my driver's license and show her my name. STILL came back with the wrong package! WTH??? I suggest that since it was just filled its probably on the counter and hasn't been filed away, sure enough thats where she finds it. I check the contents of the bottle since at this point I have zero confidence that she's filled what was written on the script.
Other complaint, and this is general to Shoppers not just this location, is that their prescription prices/dispensing fees are out of line. I appreciate that there's a convenience factor but feel the premium they add is a bit much.
I'll stick to London Drugs.
