  • Since moving to Chandler more than two years ago, we have been using SSC for our auto care concerns. We liked the location and customer service and for the most part only needed simple work done, like oil changes. This past year, we have had a couple more involved issues with my vehicle. The quotes for the work seemed astronomically high. We decided to take it elsewhere for a second opinion, and discovered that one of the repairs that was suggested to us at SSC was not at all a problem - it was entirely something else! This saved us over $1700.00 in a needless repair. Another problem was also addressed at the second repair shop at a savings of nearly $500.00. I have been feeling that the mechanic is not diagnosing correctly, overcharging, or inventing problems to fix. My happiness with this shop has diminished greatly after these issues. A family member also experienced a similar situation here. I just want to warn readers of YELP that their great reviews are a good indicator of the quality of the place, but if you feel something is amiss in the quote or work cited, do not hesitate to look for another opinion.
