Saw The Wizard of Oz here the other night. This place's name has changed a couple of times, but it never changes to be a great theatre. Easily accessible by the TTC, it's steps from Dundas Station. There's also a lot of things to do around the theatre including shopping and dining. The Senator is right across the street and you get a discount for a Yelp Check In by the way. Now to the seats - they're quite comfortable, like you're sitting on a sofa at home. We were sitting at the upper level and we still had a great view of the stage (and more importantly the show). The only thing I wonder about is the food policy - grab a treat in the lobby, but I don't think alcoholic beverages, drinks and food should be allowed in the theatre. There's nothing stopping me from going back. I think that it's a beautiful building that should be bragged about to visitors to Toronto.
Good for: out of towners, nightlife, entertainment
